Studio (1A)
Floor 1, blue spines. Books: Studio Basics, Lua Scripting, Build Mode.
Every confirmed Clean the Library book, grouped by floor and shelf code. Tick off the ones you have shelved in checklist mode, or switch to quiz mode to test whether you already know the shelf without searching for it.

Searching every book works, but it costs a phone glance or an alt-tab on every single pickup.
The book locator on this site answers "which shelf does this book go on" one title at a time, and that is the right tool the first few runs. Once you have played a handful of rounds, though, the slow part stops being the search itself and starts being how often you need it. A guide covering the game's separate 3-volume collectible books calls finding them "one of the toughest tasks in Clean the Library." If just recognizing the 17 verified shelf categories already takes a second look, that gap only widens once harder collectible hunts are stacked on top of the regular sorting loop.
Quiz mode below is built for that second stage. It shows a real confirmed title and asks you to name the shelf before it tells you the answer, which is closer to what a live round actually demands than reading a reference table start to finish. For the route once you already know the shelf, the book location finder is still faster for a single lookup than scrolling this page.
Both modes read from the same confirmed book data. Pick the one that matches what you are trying to do right now.
| Mode | What it does | Best for | Not for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Checklist | Lists every confirmed book by floor and shelf, with a tick box that saves locally. | Tracking a running completion record across sessions, or scanning the whole list once. | Testing whether you actually remember a shelf without reading the code next to it. |
| Memorize quiz | Shows a title, offers four shelf-code choices, and reveals the correct one after you pick. | Players who keep tabbing back to a guide mid-round and want to stop needing it. | Your very first session, if none of the shelf categories are familiar yet - start with the checklist or the shelf codes table first. |
Three confirmed sections that show how the checklist groups books by category.
Floor 1, blue spines. Books: Studio Basics, Lua Scripting, Build Mode.
Floor 1, purple spines. Books: John Doe, The Oldest Account, 1x1x1x1.
Floor 2, purple spines. Books: Wizard Tycoon, Magic Training, Arcane Odyssey.

This site separates confirmed public-source mappings from values that still need an in-game pass. Floor 1 sections 1A-1J and Floor 2 sections 2A-2G are listed with their current known categories. Unconfirmed shelves stay marked as TBD / verify so players do not memorize invented data.
Before publishing a new shelf mapping, we compare the book code, the shelf label, and the spine-color cue in a live Clean The Library server. Codes and likes are rechecked daily because Roblox games can patch reward systems without notice.
This list tracks 50 confirmed books across 17 verified shelf sections - 30 on Floor 1, 20 on Floor 2. Unconfirmed sections (1K-1N and 2H-2Q) are left off this list rather than filled in with a guess.
This page is that list. It groups every confirmed book by floor and shelf code, with a checklist to track which ones you have personally shelved and a quiz mode to drill the category-to-shelf mapping.
Run the quiz mode repeatedly instead of re-reading the table. Seeing a title and guessing its shelf before checking the answer builds the same recall you need mid-round, which is a different skill from being able to look a title up.
Yes, to your browser's local storage, the same way the collectibles tracker does. It does not sync between devices or require an account.
Spine color first, then the two-character code. Repeated quiz rounds train the color-to-category link faster than reading the table once, though the book locator is still there for any title you have not memorized yet.
Sections 1K through 1N and 2H through 2Q have not been confirmed in public sources yet. This site marks them TBD instead of inventing book titles for them, so they are excluded from both the checklist and the quiz until they are verified in-game.
