The core loop, the shelf system, and what the clean the library beginner guide covers that solo exploration misses.
Each round starts with books scattered across the library. You pick one up, read the title printed on its spine, work out which category it belongs to, carry it to that section, and place it. Repeat until the library is clean.
The shelf system uses two-character codes: a number for the floor and a letter for the section within that floor. Shelf 1H means Floor 1, section H, which is Horror. Shelf 2B means Floor 2, section B, which is Anime. Learning the codes is faster than memorizing category names because the code tells you the floor first.
Complete a shelf and you earn 2 Stat Points. You spend those in the game's Magic Upgrades menu, and the abilities you unlock fire on keys 1 to 4 on PC, or the D-Pad on console. That is the whole in-game progression loop: finish shelves, bank points, spend them. Progress saves to your Roblox account automatically - see does Clean the Library save progress for when that save actually happens and how to avoid losing a fresh purchase.
Separately, the game sells gamepasses for Robux: Max Jump (29 R$), +5 Books (49 R$), Max Speed (99 R$), Head Start (139 R$), VIP (199 R$), +50 Books (499 R$), and Unlimited Magic (999 R$). None of them is required to finish a round, and none of them helps with the thing that actually slows new players down, which is not knowing where a book goes.
Floor 2 of the Classic Library has 6 sections: Magic (2A), Anime (2B), Meditation (2C), Military (2D), Brainrot (2E), and Theme Parks (2F). It is a small set - one focused run is enough to learn it. The book location finder lists every book on each of them.
Treat Floor 2 like a separate sub-run: load up on books headed there, shelve everything on that floor, then return to Floor 1. Mixing floors on individual trips adds stairway time that compounds across a whole round.
PC, controller, and mobile control reference for Clean the Library.
| Action | PC | Controller | Mobile |
|---|---|---|---|
| Pickup / Place | E or Click | RT | Tap book or shelf |
| Drop | Q | B / O | Drop button |
| Switch top book | Scroll | LT | Swipe stack |
| Zoom in | Right-Click | Not confirmed | Pinch / camera control |
| Hint | H | Not confirmed | Hint button |
| Abilities | 1 2 3 4 | D-Pad | Ability bar |
The H hint key is limited per run. Search the book location finder before burning a hint charge.
Patterns that come up consistently across community sessions and public server observations.
New players pick up one book and walk. Experienced players load what they can carry, plan the route in their head, then walk once. The difference compounds across a whole round.
Stat Points are awarded per completed shelf, not per book placed. A shelf you actually finished is worth more than five you left one book short.
In-game hints cost a charge and point toward a section. The shelf finder on this site returns the exact shelf code and floor instantly and costs nothing. Use the finder first. Save hints for situations where you are already holding a book mid-trip and cannot check a phone.
In a co-op group, the most common slowdown is two players duplicating work on the same pile while a different pile goes untouched on the other floor. Calling out floors at the start ("I have Floor 2, who has Floor 1?") takes five seconds and removes that overlap for the full run.
Keep one shared pile per floor rather than four scattered ones. A courier pulling from a scattered pile re-walks aisles somebody has already covered. The squad strategy planner hands each player a role and a section range so nobody freelances.
One current community video is embedded on every guide page for visual cross-checking.
We do not play this game. Everything here is taken from sources you can check yourself, and we say which one on the page where the claim appears. The shelf sections and book lists come from the Pro Game Guides map cheatsheet and allthings.how, which agree with each other. Gamepass prices come from the live store listing, and badge counts from the Roblox API.
Where the sources are silent, we say so instead of filling the gap. No source publishes book titles for the Grand or Starter libraries, names any individual magic ability, or lists the three-volume titles for the Meditation and Military shelves - so neither do we. Sites that do publish those are guessing, and several of them contradict their own tables.
Learn where the sections are. Pick a book up, read the title printed on its spine, work out the category, and carry it to that section's shelf. Books are not colour-coded, so the spine title is the only cue. Completing a whole shelf pays 2 Stat Points, which you spend in the Magic Upgrades menu.
Clean the Library is a co-op Roblox sorting game. Books are scattered across the library. You pick one up, read the title on its spine, walk it to the matching shelf on the correct floor, and place it. The Classic Library has 16 sections: 1A to 1J on Floor 1 and 2A to 2F on Floor 2.
On PC: E or left-click to pick up and place, Q to drop, scroll wheel to cycle stacked books, right-click to zoom in on a spine, and H for a hint. On controller: RT to pick up, B or Circle to drop, LT to cycle, and D-Pad for abilities. On mobile, tap the book or shelf and use the on-screen buttons.
Complete a shelf and you earn 2 Stat Points. You spend those in the Magic Upgrades menu, and the abilities you unlock are bound to keys 1 to 4 on PC or the D-Pad on console. Separately, the game sells gamepasses for Robux, including +5 Books at 49 R$ and Max Speed at 99 R$.
Carry capacity is what the +5 Books gamepass (49 Robux) and +50 Books gamepass (499 Robux) raise. Without a gamepass, the way to cut walking is to batch: pick up everything headed for the floor you are already on, plan the route, then walk once.
Public servers support co-op with multiple players. The main win is not doubling up: call out which floor you are taking in the first 30 seconds, keep one shared pile per floor, and give each player a section range instead of letting everyone freelance.
No. The game has no codes and no code-redemption button. Any site showing a filled-in table of active codes for this game is publishing guesses.
